ENGAGE Videos

The Engage Process Modeler is a process mapping tool that focuses on being easy to use live in a workshop and gives a graphical view to the standard BPMN notation. This video gives an introduction to the Engage Process Suite and what it can do for you and your organisation.

Process mapping made easy

Process mapping is one of the most powerful ways to understand how a service area performs a task. The Engage Process Modeler is an easy way to graphically process map live in a workshop, this ensures that an accurate and understood process map is produced as the people doing the work are seeing the map being created, instead of getting the write-up days later in a format that is unfamiliar with.

This video goes into the basics of the Engage Process Modeler and shows how easy it is to map processes and to improve them.

Powerful Process Analysis

One of the key features of the Engage Process Modeler is the ability to run time and costing simulations on process maps.

This video goes in-depth on how to set up a process map for analysis. This includes adding processing time and roles to each step, assigning percentages to choices and decisions, selecting different types of measures, running the simulations, analysing the output.

Using the Digital Brainstorm tool

The digital brainstorm tool can be used live in a workshop to gain input from attendees.

The workshop facilitator can use the web application to add, sort and categorise notes added by the attendees through a browser or phone app.

Sharing processes and getting feedback

Once processes have been created live in a workshop, the processes can be shared with the wider team to gain feedback. This video covers how to share a process, create a ‘viewer link’ to send people straight to the map, view the shared map and finally leaving feedback on the process map.

Using these features can help to ensure that the whole team gets to see and be a part of the redesign process.

Publishing process maps and creating a process handbook

Once your processes are complete you may want to publish them so that they can be viewed and used by members of the team.

This is best done by using the Overview feature, where images and shapes can be used as links to other maps acting as a menu for users to navigate between the process maps published for their service area.

This video covers submitting process maps for publishing, approving or denying a request, publishing authorisation and creating and viewing an overview as a process handbook.
